About the race
The Tilburg Ten Miles is an annual running event in the city of Tilburg, Netherlands, with a history dating back to 1988. The event takes place over a weekend in September and features a variety of distances through decorated city streets. The courses are lined with musical orchestras and large crowds of spectators.
Participants can choose from several running distances held on Sunday:
- 16.1 km (10 English Miles)
- 10 km
- 5 km
- 1 km and 2.5 km (Kids Runs)
- 400 m (Mini Run)
- 1 km (TTM4YOU)
The event includes a business category for the 5 km, 10 km, and 10 EM distances. For those who prefer walking, a walking tour is organized on Saturday with distances of 5 km, 10 km, and 16 km.
The main running distances use electronic timing via a chip on the bib number. Water stations are located at various intervals along the routes, ranging from two stations for the 5 km to five stations for the 10 EM. The event center is located at the Koepelhal, where participants can pick up their start numbers and access lockers and changing facilities. Pacers are available for the 10 EM distance to assist runners in achieving specific target times. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
