About the race
The XI. Pelso Clean Tihanyi Félmaraton is a multi-distance running event held in Tihany on 2026.10.03. The event uses the original Tihany course established in 2015 and is held around Club Tihany, Rév utca 3. The course is certified and the race offers multiple categories and distances for different ages and preferences.
Distances:
- 400 m baby run with finisher medal and refreshment for children
- 3 km Polar joy run
- 5 km DRK route showing notable parts of Tihany
- 12 km Fanan route along the peninsula on the original long course
- 21 km Pelso Clean individual and pair options on the full half marathon course
The event reports a decade of history with 20,722 total finishers over ten years and ten sold-out editions. There is a participant limit of 1,500 entrants. Organisers note locally produced medals and race shirts from befutoerem.hu and a substantial finishers' pack. On-course support includes a wide refreshment selection and music from techno and afro house DJs. Crystal trophies used in earlier years return to the prize set.
