Tideline Classic - Campbell River, BC
The Tideline Classic takes place on June 13, 2026, with start and finish at Ken Forde Park. The course follows the Seawalk and public sidewalks, and it is described as having zero elevation gain between start and finish.
Distances offered:
- 11 km
- 5 km
- 2 km (Kids)
Participants will start in small groups or waves to reduce congestion. The course will be marked at intersections and at regular intervals, but there is no dedicated race lane on the Seawalk. Runners are expected to be respectful of public users; dogs and strollers are not permitted on the race course and headphone use is limited to one earbud.
Hydration stations are located at the Start/Finish area and at the two turn-around points: the 11 km turn at Hidden Harbour Park South (67 S Island Highway) and the 5 km turn at Simms Creek Pump Station. Public washrooms are available at Frank James Park, Simms Creek Pump Station, Rotary Park, and Ken Forde Park.
Timing is manual via RaceClocker; there are no timing chips, so bibs must be clearly visible on the front of the shirt. Race policies note refunds for pregnancy with a doctor's note only, no transfers to other participants, permitted transfers down in distance without refund, cutoff times for each distance, and specific rules for the Kids 2 km regarding parental/guardian presence. The event coincides with the opening of Foundation Rehab’s new location and includes a waffle breakfast, swag bag, post-race snacks, and an invitation to the collaborative space by Foundation Rehab and Elevate Sports.
