ThunderRidge Grizzly 2 Mile

The ThunderRidge Grizzly 2 Mile is an annual event hosted on the ThunderRidge High School campus in Highlands Ranch, Colorado (1991 W Wildcat Reserve Pkwy). The event marks the start of the ThunderRidge High School cross country season and includes separate races for school athletes, younger students, and the broader community.

Registration opens on June 30, 2026 and closes on August 15, 2026. The event includes three organized races with the following fees:

ThunderRidge High School 2 Mile (TRXC High School athletes only) : $10.00
Community 2 Mile (parents, middle schoolers and other community members) : $25.00
Elementary/Middle School Mile (all middle schoolers sign up for this) : $15.00

The event also functions as a fundraiser for the TRXC program. The organizers have a fundraising goal of $15,000 for the season. Donations are directed to TRXC to support items such as uniforms, travel, and coaches to benefit the high school cross country program.
