ThunderRidge Grizzly 2 Mile
The ThunderRidge Grizzly 2 Mile is an on-campus running event held at ThunderRidge High School on 15 August 2026 in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. The event includes separate races organized for school athletes, younger students, and the wider community, all taking place on the ThunderRidge campus at 1991 W Wildcat Reserve Pkwy.
Distances and participant categories:
- 2 miles - ThunderRidge High School race, TRXC athletes only.
- 2 miles - Community race open to parents, friends and staff members.
- 1 mile - Elementary and middle school mile; middle schoolers are asked to register for this.
Registration opens 30 June 2026 and closes 15 August 2026. Fees are listed per event: $10 for the ThunderRidge High School 2 mile, $25 for the Community 2 mile, and $15 for the Elementary/Middle School mile.
The event also functions as a fundraiser for the ThunderRidge Cross Country program (TRXC). Organizers aim to raise $15,000 to support program needs such as uniforms, travel and coaching expenses.
