Event description
Thriller Lake is an endurance running event on Saturday, October 24, 2026. It features timed loop races of 12 hour, 6 hour, and 3 hour durations around Miller Lake. The event combines the timed races with a Halloween-themed Trick or Treat Fun Run on the same loop, with music, food, and runners in costume. Spectators and family are allowed in the start and finish area; everyone on the course must be registered.
Course, format and logistics
All timed events use a paved loop around Miller Lake at Little Mulberry Park in Gwinnett County, Georgia. The loop length is 2.2 miles. The Trick Or Treat Fun Run covers one loop and includes 8 treat stops. The fun run is not timed; each fun-run participant receives a glow-in-the-dark wrist band at check-in. A costume contest will acknowledge the top two costumes and award a prize of Falcons game tickets to the overall best costume. Strollers are allowed; bicycles, scooters, and motorized devices are discouraged unless medically necessary. PERC Coffee will be brewed on site for participants, spectators, and crew.
Location and parking: Little Mulberry Park, 3900 Hog Mountain Rd NE, Hoschton, GA 30548. The entrance is at the Pine Road intersection across from Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church.
