The Windmill Run 5k & 10k : Garristown, April 19, 2026
The Windmill Run is organised by Garristown Flyers AC in conjunction with Garristown Community Council. The event is in its 14th year and will include the Dublin Men’s 10k Championship for the fifth year and the Dublin Women’s 10k Championship for the third year. A permit has been approved, cert.no: 25/599.
The event offers chip timing for all entrants and awards a finisher medal to every participant who crosses the finish line. Cash prizes are awarded to first place finishers in both the 10k and 5k, with additional prizes for other places. Championship races follow the Terms and Conditions of the Dublin Road Race Championship.
The course was altered in 2023 to remove the Bog Hill; this change reduced a previously included climb. T shirts were originally offered to the first 400 online sign ups with sizes specified at registration; notice on the event page indicates T shirts are now sold out.

- 10 km entry
- 5 km (13–16 years, no medal) youth entry
