The Windmill Run 5k & 10k 2026
The Windmill Run returns for its 14th edition in Garristown on Sunday, April 19, 2026. The event is organised by Garristown Flyers AC in conjunction with Garristown Community Council and has an approved permit, cert. no. 25/599.
The event offers the following distances:
- 5 km
- 10 km
All entrants will receive chip timing and a medal when they cross the finish line. Tee-shirts are available for the first 400 online sign ups, with sizes specified during registration. A previous course change removed the Bog Hill for 2023, which organisers say enabled a faster race.
Cash prizes are awarded to first place finishers in both the 10 km and 5 km categories, with additional prizes also distributed across both distances. The Dublin Men’s and Women’s 10 km Championships are hosted as part of the event; championship entries follow the Terms and Conditions of the Dublin Road Race Championship.
Ticket prices listed for online sales include a standard fee of €25 for both the 5 km and 10 km, and a reduced fee of €15 for 5 km entries aged 13 to 16 years, which do not include a medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
