The Ultimate SUCK
The Ultimate SUCK is a weekend of timed obstacle events held on Decker Farm near 22721 North Polecat Road, Cuba, Illinois. The organizer stages three separate timed formats that combine Mid-Western farm chores, military-style training, trail running, and strongman-style tasks. Specific obstacles and tasks are not disclosed before the event.

- The Ultimate SUCK (36hr), 50 Miles
- The SUCK (12hr), 25 Miles
- The GUT CHECK (4hr), 10 Miles
Base camp is a tent in a hay field; RVs and buses are not permitted. Participants are not allowed to sleep once their event begins. Examples of possible tasks include carrying hay or logs, digging, chopping wood, shooting a shotgun, and exposure to pepper spray effects.
Mandatory equipment varies by event but includes items such as a ruck sack or backpack, large-capacity hydration pack (recommended 70–100 oz), two unmodified 5 gallon buckets, homemade sandbags at specified weights, life jacket, headlamp with spare batteries, safety glasses, emergency blanket, and reflective vest. A military duffle bag is required for the 36 hour format and a splitting axe is required for the 12 and 36 hour formats. Recommended items include a wetsuit top, trail shoes, work gloves, rain gear, ample food and water, insect repellent, duct tape, and a basic first aid kit.
Crews and pacers may not accompany participants on course until hour 24; after that, one pacer is allowed for the final 12 hours and may only assist at the participant's campsite.
