The Sticks - Norton, KS
The Sticks is a timed ultrarunning event held on a farmstead outside Norton, KS. The event offers multiple timed options and uses a looped course that participants repeat for the duration they choose. Live lap tracking is updated after each completed lap and the event is professionally chip timed.

Course and facilities
Participants run a repeated 3 mile loop on a combination of mowed pasture and dirt road. There is an optional 4.3 mile dirt road loop available every six hours during two one hour windows. The pasture sections are uneven with rolling hills. One well stocked aid station is located at the start/finish and will be manned around the clock. Free camping is available at the start/finish area and porta potties will be provided. An indoor shower is available on site.
Rules and services
The event limits entries to 75 participants and enforces one vehicle per runner including crew. Pacers are permitted only after 24 hours of running. Runners must check in with race staff before leaving the course area and after each loop. Only full laps are counted. No refunds and no bib transfers apply. Distance specific belt buckles and other awards are provided for qualifying performances. Whiskey will be available on site and race food and an electrolyte drink will be offered.
