Shipston IX Road Running Race
The Shipston IX takes place on 25 January 2026. It is a nine mile road race on quiet rural roads near the market town of Shipston on Stour. The course is described as fairly flat. This is the second running of the Shipston IX, replacing the "Not the Roman IX".

Entry and logistics
The event is organised by Stratford AC. Entries close on 23 January 2026 at 16:00 and the standard entry fee is £25.00 plus a service fee. Race headquarters are at Shipston on Stour Scout Hut (CV36 4EW), where race numbers will be collected. The start and finish are on Fell Mill Lane, which is about a 10 minute walk from race headquarters. Organisers have applied for a three hour road closure of that road to manage the start and finish area. Parking is in public car parks in and around Shipston on Stour; participants should allow time to walk from parking to race headquarters. Homemade cakes and hot drinks will be available for sale at the scout hut after the race. Prizes are planned for the first three men and the first three women.
