The Shipston IX
The Shipston IX is a road race held on 25 January 2026 in and around Shipston on Stour. The event is organised by Stratford AC and follows a route on quiet rural roads. The course covers a distance of nine miles and is described as fairly flat.
Race headquarters are at the Shipston on Stour Scout Hut (CV36 4EW), where race numbers are collected. Parking is available in public car parks in and around Shipston on Stour, and participants should allow time to walk from parking to race HQ. The start and finish are on Fell Mill Lane, approximately a ten minute walk from the Scout Hut. A road closure has been applied for this area to help manage the start and finish without traffic.
Refreshments will be available at race HQ, including homemade cakes, tea and coffee for sale after the event. Prizes are planned for the first three men and the first three ladies. Entry is managed online and entries close on 23 January 2026. Further event information and final details are provided to entrants by email prior to the race.
