The River Run

The River Run

The River Run is a community fundraiser held at Central Waters Brewing Co. in Amherst, Wisconsin on October 10, 2026. Funds raised benefit the Jensen Community Center.

Registration entitles participants on race day to a commemorative t-shirt, a commemorative can of River Run beer, and the option to purchase a bottle of Central Waters Black Gold. Pre-registration is required. Same-day registrations are accepted for the adult events for an additional fee, and those registrants will not receive a t-shirt. The Falcon Fun Run does not allow day-of registrations.

The event includes multiple distances:

• 5 Miles timed race, age group awards for top three per male and female brackets
• 2 Miles untimed short course through downtown and across the Tomorrow River
• Falcon Fun Run 1/2 K for kids ages 5 to 10, includes a special prize

The 5 mile course begins and ends at Central Waters Brewing Co., follows a winding route through downtown, and includes a limestone-chipped segment on the Tomorrow River Trail alongside the Tomorrow River. The 2 mile course also starts and ends at the brewery, offering a short tour through downtown with a river crossing. Neither course is closed to traffic, so participants must be aware of vehicles on the route. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
