The River Run : Amherst, Wisconsin
The River Run is a community fundraiser held on October 10, 2026 at Central Waters Brewing Co., 351 Allen St., Amherst, Wisconsin. Proceeds benefit the Jensen Community Center. The event program includes a timed road and trail five-mile race, an untimed two-mile tour, and a children’s Falcon Fun Run.
The five-mile course starts and finishes at Central Waters Brewing Co. and includes a winding route through downtown plus a limestone-chipped segment of the Tomorrow River Trail that runs alongside the Tomorrow River. The two-mile course also starts and finishes at the brewery, follows a short downtown route, and crosses the Tomorrow River. Both adult courses are not closed to traffic; participants must be alert to vehicles.
The Falcon Fun Run is a 1/2 K for children ages 5 to 10, starts and ends at the brewery, and provides a special prize for all participants. There is no day-of registration for the Falcon Fun Run.
Registration entitles participants on race day to a commemorative t-shirt and a commemorative can of River Run beer, plus the option to purchase Central Waters Black Gold. Pre-registration is required. Same-day registrations are accepted with an additional fee and are not guaranteed a t-shirt.
