Course and logistics

The marked course runs on rooty, rocky single-track trails and is described as hilly, with about 450 ft of elevation gain per 8K loop. A main aid station at the start/finish area provides hot and cold food, snacks, water, electrolytes, and coffee. Drop bags may be placed at the start/finish area.

The 10 Mile Ruck has weight requirements: participants weighing more than 150 lbs must carry 30 lb; those under 150 lbs must carry 20 lb. Ruck sacks or vests are allowed. Awards include a tri-blend tee (order by December 15 to guarantee size), a wooden finisher medal, place awards for male and female finishers in each distance, a 50K DFL award, and a ruck patch for 10 Mile Ruck finishers.
