Raven50 Ultra - event details
The Raven50 Ultra takes place in Whitehorse, Yukon, with race day activities at the Whitehorse Cross Country Ski Stadium adjacent to the Canada Games Centre. The listed edition is set for July 4, 2026.
The event offers multiple distances and relay options:
- 50 Mile Solo approximately 80 km
- 50 km Solo
- 50 Mile Relay two-person team with a midpoint exchange
- 50 km Relay team relay over 50 km
- 10 km Run open to youth and adults
- 5 km Run open to youth and adults
- 2.5 km Run open to anyone
The full course includes over 3,000 meters of elevation gain, multiple ridges and peaks, water crossings, and a mix of single-track trails, quad roads, and switchbacks. Seven aid stations provide food and support, and there are full facilities at the start and finish. A mandatory pre-race check-in includes bag drop, racer registration, an opening prayer, a bear safety briefing, and a race orientation.
Organizers state a commitment to truth and reconciliation and work with the Kwanlin Dün First Nation. Indigenous runners receive complimentary entry. The event day concludes with a meal, a beer garden, and activities for children. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
