Raven50 Ultra
The Raven50 Ultra takes place on Saturday 4 July 2026 at the Whitehorse Cross Country Ski Stadium, adjacent to the Canada Games Centre in Whitehorse, Yukon. The event includes multiple race options held on regional trails.
Distances offered include:
- 50 Mile Solo approximately 80 km.
- 50 km Solo.
- 50 Mile Relay two person team with an exchange near midpoint.
- 50 km Relay team relay.
- 10 km Run open to youth and adults.
- 5 km Run open to youth and adults.
- 2.5 km Run open to all.
The full course features over 3,000 meters of elevation gain, multiple ridges and peaks, water crossings, and a mix of single-track trails, quad roads, and switchbacks. There are seven aid stations with food and full facilities at the start and finish. Relay teams use an exchange point near the course midpoint.
Pre-race activities on the day before racing include mandatory check-in, bag drop and racer registration, plus an opening prayer, a bear safety briefing and race orientation. The event day concludes with a meal, a beer garden and games for children.
Organizers state a commitment to reconciliation and engagement with local Indigenous communities, working with the Kwanlin Dün First Nation. Indigenous runners are eligible for a complimentary entry. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
