THE PRRC HALF™
THE PRRC HALF™ is a social looped running event based at The Peasants’ Revolt Micropub in Brentwood. The organiser uses a wheel to decide each route; participants run a loop, return to the pub to regroup, then spin again to set the next route.
The format consists of up to four loops, each roughly 5 km, so runners can complete one loop or all four. The event is held at a party pace only, with target paces around 5:30 to 7 minutes per kilometre. There are no timing chips, no official personal best attempts, and the atmosphere is presented as informal rather than competitive.
Ticket options include a paid Finisher Pack for £10 that includes a PRRC pint glass, a medal, and a pint of Dusty’s Ginger Beer at the finish, subject to limited availability, and a free Just Running option for those who want to run without a pack. A briefing and bag drop are provided, and the event takes place in person at the micopub location.
The organiser notes a PRRC party after the loops. The event listing states the duration as four hours and thirty minutes and gives the venue address as 137a Kings Road, Brentwood CM14 4DR. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
