The Prairie Triathlon at NorthPointe
The Prairie Triathlon at NorthPointe is a community triathlon held at NorthPointe Wellness in Roscoe, Illinois. Entry fees benefit the Stateline Boys & Girls Club. The event offers individual and team relay options with fees of $45.00 and $90.00 respectively. No race day registration is accepted. Registration opens March 2, 2026 and registration closes June 7, 2026 at midnight.
The swim takes place in a seven-lane pool; participants swim one lap in each lane and transition by ducking under the lane marker. The bike leg follows an open 17 mile country road course that travels through Winnebago and Boone Counties. The run uses campus trails composed of blacktop and crushed limestone.
Race packet pickup is available at NorthPointe Wellness with a scheduled evening pickup the day before the event and a race day pickup the morning of the event. A free Fun Fair with activities for children is provided during the event in the morning.
