The NFNF Original 2026
The NFNF Original is an adventure race held in Swellendam, Western Cape, running from 21 to 23 August 2026. The event is based at Swellendam High School and uses routes that pass through peaks, rivers and gravel roads in the surrounding area. The format includes multiple route choices and varied, technical terrain.
Certain classes include two nights accommodation with participants providing their own bedding, plus three meals, race entry, logistics and trail permits. Other classes include race entry, logistics and trail permits but no organised accommodation. A keepsake "medal" is provided for each class. Prices shown for available classes range from ZAR 795 to ZAR 3,595 per person depending on distance and options.
The event supports team entries for selected classes. Team sizes range from two to four participants. The published age guideline for the event is 12 and above.
