The NFNF Original 2026
The NFNF Original 2026 is an adventure race held in Swellendam, Western Cape, from 21 to 23 August 2026. The event is based at Swellendam High School and uses routes that pass through local rivers, gravel roads and surrounding peaks. Past editions have used locations such as Riebeek Kasteel, Franskraal, the Langeberg, the Cederberg, the Nuy Valley, the Riviersonderend river, the Breede River lower reaches and the De Hoop mountains.

Some classes include two nights accommodation and three meals; participants are required to provide their own bedding for those options. All classes include race entry, event logistics and trail permits. The organizer notes that team entries are supported for certain classes, with team sizes ranging from 2 to 4 participants. The event lists a typical minimum age of 12 and provides an event experience described as involving varied route choices and technical terrain.
