The Mile - Norwood
This event at 335 Chestnut St, Norwood, New Jersey on June 20, 2026 features two road races organized by Impact Zone and presented in part by Runners' House. Registration opens March 18, 2026 for the one mile event and March 19, 2026 for the half mile event. Registration closes June 19, 2026. Entry fees listed by the organizer are $30 for the one mile and $25 for the half mile. Race day sign ups for the family mile and the Impact Zone mile are accepted for $35 cash or credit at Impact Zone.
Distances offered:
- One mile competitive heat for ages 16 to 39 able to run sub six minutes
- Half mile road run around the block for children and adults, inclusive and accessible
The one mile is described as a competitive race for athletes meeting the stated age and performance criteria. The half mile event, Marcie's Movement SOAR Run, is presented as an inclusive road run around the block where participants may run, walk, or roll; athletes receive an official race bib, finish time, and a finishers medal. Volunteers and spectators are expected to be present.
All proceeds will be donated to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Awards and prizes include shoes from Runners' House for overall and masters winners, gift cards for second and third places applied toward shoes, cash awards for new course records and for breaking American age group records, and Runners' House gift card prizes for USATF Masters age brackets.
