The Mile - Norwood
The event takes place on June 20, 2026 at 335 Chestnut St, Norwood, New Jersey. The venue uses a flat, two-loop USATF-certified course with wide roads and smooth turns. All proceeds are donated to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
The program includes championship and community races. One race is presented by Runners' House and is limited to competitive runners ages 16 to 39 who can run a sub 6:00 mile. A separate community half-mile road run around the block at Impact Zone is open to children and adults and is described as inclusive; participants receive an official race bib, finish time, and a finishers medal.
Registration notes specify a general closing date of June 19 and a separate online registration deadline for USATF championship entrants. Race day sign-ups are permitted only for the family mile and the Impact Zone mile at a set on-site fee.
Awards and prizes include running shoes from Runners' House for top overall finishers and select masters winners, gift cards for second and third places in some categories, cash bonuses for new course records and American age group records, and age-group gift cards for masters divisions. An awards distribution follows the final races. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
