Event Overview
The Mile Marker is an annual road race event held in Danesfort, County Kilkenny. The 2026 edition takes place on Sunday, June 07, with the primary objective of raising funds for St. Michael's National School. Participants can choose from several distance options held on local roads near the school premises.
Available Distances
Participants can register for the following distances:
- 10 Mile road race for adult participants.
- 5 Mile road race for adult participants.
- 5 km road race available for both adults and participants under the age of 16.
- 1 Mile dash designed as a family-friendly event.
Participant Information
Participants in the 5 km, 5 mile, and 10 mile categories receive a technical running top as part of their entry. The school-aged 1 mile dash event does not include a t-shirt. Registration for the shorter family mile is available for individuals or as a family group covering up to two adults and three children.
