About the Event
The Mangy Coyote Backyard Ultra is an endurance race held at Trenton Park, Nova Scotia. Formerly known as "The Backyard Boogeyman," this event functions as a fundraiser for the Pictou County United Way. The competition follows a casual backyard-style format where participants run a designated loop repeatedly for a duration of 13 hours.
The course features a combination of groomed double-wide gravel trails and technical singletrack sections. While the final loop distance is subject to confirmation, it is estimated to be between 4 km and 6 km, with an elevation gain of approximately 40 m to 60 m per lap. The event continues until the cutoff time is reached or the runner chooses to stop.
