The Lawford 10K run
The Lawford 10K run, walk and children's events take place as part of the Manningtree Rotary charity Summer Fun Festival at Lawford Playing Field in association with Lawford Fotball Club. The event is organised as a charity fundraiser with profits going to local and international causes. Charity No: 1019980.
The main distance is 10K on a multi-terrain course described as flat to undulating. Runners are chip timed. A bag facility is available. The route is signed with yellow direction signs and has regular water stations. All participants receive a medal. Dogs are welcome.
A children's fun run around the playing field is included as part of the festival activities. Stalls and rides run throughout the day until 6pm, with a range of family activities on site.
Event capacity is limited to 1000 entrants and the minimum age for the 10K is 12 years. Entries close on 07/08/2026. The event location is Lawford Playing Field, School Lane, Lawford, CO11 2HZ.
