The Lawford 10k run
The Lawford 10k run takes place at Lawford Playing Field in Lawford, CO11 2HZ, as part of the Manningtree Rotary charity fun day. The event is organised in association with Lawford Football Club and raises funds for local charities and international causes (Charity No: 1019980).
The main distance is a 10 km course described as flat to undulating and multi-terrain. The event is open to runners, walkers and joggers, and dogs are welcome. Runners will be chip timed. A bag facility is provided. The route is marked with yellow direction signs and has regular water stations. All participants receive a medal.
A childrens fun run takes place around the playing field as part of the wider fun day. There will also be stalls, rides and family activities throughout the day.
Additional event details include a minimum age of 12 years for the 10 km and a maximum field size of 1000 entrants. Entries close on 07 August 2026.
