The Last Hour
The Last Hour is an 8 km trail race at Vanderwater Conservation Area in Thomasburg, Ontario, organized by Dirty Soles and held as the final event in the Happy Hour Series. The event takes place on Friday, August 20.
The course runs on gently rolling terrain through pine groves, old boulder fields and along the Moira River. Trails are generously wide and suited to running alongside others.
There are no aid stations on course. A porta potty is available in the main parking lot. Vanderwater operates a paid parking gate; parking costs $6 and the gate accepts cash, debit and credit card.
Bibs can be picked up one hour before the start. Day of registration is available one hour before the start for $30. Timing is manual and there are no placement awards. There are no refunds for any reason.
Dirty Soles will have event swag for sale. Participants who complete all four races in the Happy Hour Series receive a custom Dirty Soles medal and a prize presented at The Last Hour.
