The Last Hour
The Last Hour is the final race of the Happy Hour Friday Night Series. It is an informal trail run of 8 km held on the gently rolling terrain of Vanderwater Conservation Area in Thomasburg, Ontario.
The course passes through pine groves, old boulder fields and along the waters of the Moira River. Trails are generously wide, permitting runners to run alongside friends. The series is presented as a welcoming, community-focused set of trail events.
There are no aid stations on course. A porta-potty is located in the main parking lot. Parking at Vanderwater is charged at $6 and the gate accepts cash, debit and credit.
Bibs are available on race day and day-of registration is offered for $30. Timing is manual and results are posted to the event's Facebook pages within 24 hours. There are no placement awards. No refunds are offered for any reason.
Participants who complete all three Happy Hour races receive a custom Dirty Soles medal and a prize at The Last Hour. The listed registration fee for the event is $29.47. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
