The Last Hour
The Last Hour is the final race in the Happy Hour Friday Night Series, held at Vanderwater Conservation Area in Thomasburg, ON, Canada. The event is an 8 km trail run on gently rolling terrain.
The route passes through pine groves, old boulder fields and along the Moira River. Trails are generously wide, allowing runners to run alongside others and contributing to the informal, community-focused character of the series.
There are no aid stations on course. A porta potty is available in the main parking lot. Vanderwater operates a paid parking gate; parking costs CA$6 and the gate accepts cash, debit and credit. Bib pick up is available one hour before the start and day of registration is available one hour before the start for CA$30.
Timing is done manually and results are posted to the event Facebook page within 24 hours. There are no placement awards and no refunds for any reason. Dirty Soles merchandise will be available for sale. Participants who complete all three Happy Hour races will receive a custom Dirty Soles medal and prize at this final event.
