The Kirk-Wood Half Marathon

Course and race details
The course begins at Marina Park in Kirkland and finishes at Wilmot Gateway Park in Woodinville. The route follows Lake Washington Blvd, the Cross Kirkland Corridor Trail, passes through Totem Lake, and connects to the Sammamish River Trail. The course description notes one hill at mile 2, otherwise mostly flat, and a net downhill section from miles 8 to 10.
Participants receive a finisher medal, and finish-line provisions include hot cider and Pop-Tarts. The first 1,000 registrants are scheduled to receive a full-zip hooded sweatshirt; registrants may opt out of the sweatshirt for a $10 reduction. An optional pre-race shuttle from the finish to the start is offered for $5. Registration uses tiered pricing with early-bird and later rates.
