The Kirk-Wood Half Marathon
The inaugural Kirk-Wood Half Marathon takes place on March 8, 2026. It is a point-to-point race starting at Marina Park in Kirkland and finishing at Wilmot Gateway Park in Woodinville, Washington. The event is organized by Snohomish Running Company.
The course runs along the Sammamish River Trail and the Eastrail. The route is described as flat and fast. Aid stations with water, Gatorade, and energy gels are available approximately every 2.5 miles. Compostable cups are provided at each station.
Registration for the half marathon includes a custom full-zip hooded sweatshirt and a finisher medal. After the race, participants receive a free slice of pizza from The Pizza Coop, located near the start line. Pop-tarts are also available at the finish line.
Participants are asked to park approximately half a mile from the start line. Packet pickup is available on the Friday and Saturday before the race in Snohomish and Woodinville, and on race day morning near the start line in Wilmot Gateway Park.
