Event
The Hoot Half Marathon & 10k Trail Race is scheduled for September 6, 2026 in Lewis Center, OH (43035). The event takes place on the Rocks and Roots Trail at Alum Creek State Park, with the race start located just off Hollenback Rd near the dog park (3993 Hollenback Rd). The event has a no refund and no bib transfer policy. Entry fees vary by date: through May 31 - $45; June 1-30 - $50; July 1-31 - $55; August 1-31 - $60; September 1 and race day - $70.

The course uses the park trail loops: the North Loop is run first in a clockwise direction for the first 10K, the South Loop is run next in a counter-clockwise direction for the second 10K, and an additional roughly 0.7 mile loop completes the half marathon. Packet pickup is available at Fleet Feet Sports in Lewis Center before the event during normal business hours, and packet pickup is also available at the race site on race day.
