The High Five Color Run
The High Five Color Run is an athletic event held at Michael Faklis Park in Stockton, California. Organized by Run Skedaddle, this event serves as the finale of the Skedaddle Running event series. Originally created by a teacher in Stockton, the run is designed to honor the impact of educators.
Participants can choose from three distinct distances:
- 1 km (Run/Walk)
- 5 km (Run/Walk)
- 10 km (Run/Walk)
The event features various elements focused on color, including powder cannons and individual powder packs. Participants are encouraged to wear white clothing to display the various hues encountered along the course. Registered runners receive a race shirt, a pack of starting line powder, a race bib for timing, and a finisher medal. Awards are presented for first place based on age categories.
The 1 km route is a dedicated course for younger participants. All courses are located within the grounds of Michael Faklis Park. On the day of the event, parking is available at the Trinity Parkway Walmart overflow parking lot. The event also offers spectator options that include a shirt.
