The Great Cow Run (Higashi Roman Memorial Run)
The Great Cow Run (Higashi Roman Memorial Run) is a community running event scheduled for September 5, 2026, at John Glenn High School in Norwalk, California. The event is organized by alumni of Cerritos High School to support the school and to commemorate local history connected to Dairy Valley.
The main running option is a 3 mile fun run with both in-person and virtual registration options. Published entry prices include a standard fee of $35 for the in-person 3 mile option and $40 for the virtual option; a higher fee is noted for race day registration. Event materials such as the current course map and check-in information will be provided on site and are also emailed with registration confirmation.
Attendees should note that there is no bag check available on site. Parking is restricted to legally marked spaces and will include paid parking in the high school lot; cash is requested for parking. Vehicles parked improperly may be towed. The event also includes additional youth and invitational races on the same day.
