The Good Creation 5K
The Good Creation 5K is a community running event on September 19, 2026, held at 1901 S Cage Blvd, Pharr, Texas. The event is inspired by the story of creation in Genesis and focuses on appreciating the outdoors and bringing people together in a shared, encouraging atmosphere. The program pairs a road race with an optional Praise & Worship Night after the running events.

Registration opens on July 9 and closes on September 19. The Kids 1K registration fee is $10. Every 5K participant receives a custom finisher medal, a custom event shirt, and a custom bib; the shirt giveaway deadline is August 9.
The 5K includes age group awards in these categories: 9 & Under, 10–14, 15–20, 21–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70 & Over. The 1K includes awards for top young finishers. The Praise & Worship Night that follows is intended as a time of worship, encouragement, and fellowship for attendees who choose to stay.
