About the race
The Gauntlet Run is a unique endurance event held at Williams Park in Gibsonburg, Ohio. Participants have 100 minutes to run, walk, or jog as far as they can on a 0.9-mile looped course. Laps are tracked by volunteers at a checkpoint near the park's shelterhouse, where water, Gatorade, music, and a fun snack station featuring Twinkies, Zingers, and Tootsie Rolls are available.
The male and female runners who cover the greatest distance receive the coveted Gauntlet Run Belt. Entry fees support Brandan's Brigade, a local charity providing quality running shoes to economically disadvantaged middle and high school athletes. All registered by July 14th receive a special "I Survived The Gauntlet" shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
