The Cogmans Trail Run
The Cogmans is a trail running event centred on Montagu in the Western Cape. Routes run through mountain terrain above the town and include sustained climbs and trail sections with scenic views. The event lists a typical participant age range of 12 and older.

- 100 km
- 50 km
- 34 km - 2000 m elevation
- 17 km - 1000 m elevation
- 10 km - 465 m elevation
The event programme spans a weekend. Friday features a Burger Night connected to registration. Saturday includes the trail races, an afternoon beer garden and evening prize giving where male and female winners are awarded for each race category. Sunday offers a shake out social run.
Entries are subject to closing and availability rules. Entries strictly close on 13 July 2026 at 12:00 and no late entries are accepted; unpaid entries are removed after two days.
