The Chiggy Ultra - 2026
The event takes place at Cape Chignecto Provincial Park in Advocate Harbour, Nova Scotia. The course is mostly single track technical trails and can be muddy. The organizer states a vertical gain of about 2200 m per loop.
Distances offered:
- The Rockhammer - ~9 km short hilly route with varied terrain and viewpoints.
- One Loop - ~51 km about 2200 m vertical gain and three aid stations.
- Two Loops - ~102 km two laps of the same loop with repeated aid stations.
- Three Loops - ~153 km three laps, distance near 100 miles and finishing buckle awarded.
The event policy is explicit: no refunds or deferrals are offered. Bib transfers are allowed until September 26, 2025. An optional Race Roster Enhanced Refund Protection is available and may cover injury, illness, COVID-19, severe weather, layoffs and mechanical breakdowns.
