Event details
The Chiggy Ultra is a multi-loop trail race held at Cape Chignecto Provincial Park in Advocate Harbour, Nova Scotia on October 3, 2026. The course is mostly single-track technical trail with significant vertical gain; each loop includes about 2200 m of elevation. The park is noted for its scenic views and rugged terrain. - One loop - ≈51 km, approx 2200 m vertical gain, three aid stations
- Two loops - ≈102 km, two laps of the same course
- Three loops - ≈153 km, finishing buckle, option to add section to reach 100 miles
- The Rockhammer - ≈9 km, hilly and technical with notable downhill sections
Policies and logistics
The organizer states there are no refunds or deferrals. Transfers of race entries are permitted; transfers are allowed until September 26, 2025. Aid stations will close on Sunday afternoon; runners still on course at that time will be managed on a case-by-case basis. Race Roster enhanced refund protection is mentioned as an available purchase to cover incidents such as injury, illness, or severe weather.
