The Chiggy Ultra - 2026: overview and location

The Chiggy Ultra - 2026 takes place on October 3-4, 2026 at Cape Chignecto Provincial Park, W Advocate Rd, Advocate Harbour, Nova Scotia, Canada. The course uses mostly single track technical trails with substantial vertical gain. Each loop on the main course contains approximately 2200 m of vertical gain.

Course and on-course support

The One Loop route follows McGahey Canyon trail and a counterclockwise circuit around Cape Chignecto. One Loop includes three aid stations. Trails are described as technical and may include muddy sections. All aid stations will close on Sunday afternoon; runners still on course at that time will be managed on a case by case basis.

Entry, fees and policies

Registration fees are listed in Canadian dollars and are inclusive of mandatory charges. Example fees shown are: One Loop CA$125, Two Loops CA$175, Three Loops CA$225, The Rockhammer CA$29.26. The event policy states there are no refunds or deferrals. Transfers of bibs are permitted and are accepted up to September 26, 2025.
