The Chiggy Ultra 2026
The event takes place at Cape Chignecto Provincial Park in Advocate Harbour, Nova Scotia. The park is noted for its scenic character, significant vertical gain and mostly single track technical trails. Each loop is stated to provide 2200 m of vertical gain.
The event offers several race formats, with trails that include technical sections and muddy terrain. The one loop option covers just over 51 kilometres and includes three aid stations along the route. The two loop and three loop options extend the distance to approximately 102 km and 153 km respectively. The three loop option includes a finishing buckle.
The event policy specifies no refunds or deferrals, while bib transfers are allowed until September 26, 2025. Race Roster Enhanced Refund Protection is mentioned as available coverage for incidents such as injury, illness, COVID-19, severe weather and other listed issues.
All aid stations will be closed by 12 pm on Sunday afternoon; runners still on course at that time will be managed on a case by case basis. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
