The Cherry Blossom Run
The Cherry Blossom Run takes place on April 25, 2026, at Rowley and Hawkins Fruit Farms near Basin City, Mesa, WA (5121 N Wahluke Rd). The event offers multiple race heats and categories for youth and older participants and includes timed results.

Routes travel on mostly hard packed dirt with some gravel and farm roads, and run down orchard rows with many blossoms. The 1 mile course is described as fairly flat. The 5k includes some hills and varied blossom areas. The 10k passes orchards and open fields by apples, peaches, apricots, sweet cherries, and tart cherries.
The farms are operated by seventh generation cherry farmers; the Rowley and Hawkins families were early growers in the Pacific Northwest and the first to grow tart cherries in Washington State. Race timing is provided by Negative Split. Parking is adjacent to the start and finish area. Bathrooms and water stations are available along the routes.
On site amenities include a food court with hamburgers, hotdogs, and other local farm products. Additional activities reported for the event include a hayride tour of the blossoms, cherry water races, tether ball for children, and similar family activities. Each participant receives a race t shirt, a swag bag with farm products and a coupon to Fresh Picks Fruit and Smoothies, a participation medal, and items from sponsors.
