New Year's Run 5K/10K/13.1 SAN DIEGO
The event takes place on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at Liberty Station, Dewey Road, San Diego, CA 92106. Online registration is closed. The organiser offers both in-person and virtual options and lists the following race distances:

Event format and services
The run uses a capped wave format with three waves (A, B, C); waves are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Timing is optional - there are no timing chips - and participants may track and submit times recorded with third-party apps. Swag is shipped to US mailing addresses; race bibs are provided on race day. The participant package includes a running T-shirt, a finisher's towel or giveaway, a finisher's medal, a digital training pack, and an online certificate of completion. A technical running shirt upgrade is available for an additional $5. Virtual participants receive a digital training pack and can submit results to receive a medal. Race updates and course maps are emailed the Wednesday before the event. The organiser notes that coordinators remain on site for three hours after the first wave and that sponsors include GATORADE and several local partners.
