The event uses a wave system with a cap per wave; waves are filled on a first-come, first-served basis and a wait list or virtual option is available when waves are full. Timing is optional: participants may track time with a mobile app and submit results, and there are no timing chips. Swag is shipped to the registrant's US mailing address; race bibs are provided on race day. The published swag items include a running T-shirt, a finisher's towel or giveaway, a finisher's medal, a digital training pack, online results and a certificate of completion, and an invitation to local running clubs. A technical running shirt is available as an optional upgrade for an additional fee.
