The Bell Lap Classic - Track Night in Ashtabula
The Bell Lap Classic - Track Night is an open all comers track meet held at Lakeside High School in Ashtabula, Ohio. The meet features classic sprint and middle-distance track races and a 4x400 relay. Entry fees are $15 per event and $10 per event for athletes 18 and under. Events include:
- 100 m 100 meter dash
- 200 m 200 meter dash
- 400 m 400 meter dash
- 800 m 800 meter run
- 1600 m 1600 meter run
- 1600 m 4x400 meter relay
Standard track rules will be followed. A starter's pistol will be used to start races. Fully Automatic Timing with FinishLynx photo-finish equipment will be used. No awards will be given. Starting blocks are not permitted. Batons will be provided for the 4x400 relay and coed relay teams run women first followed by men. The infield must remain clear for the duration of the meet. Field events are prohibited. No dogs are allowed; service animals are permitted. During the later part of the meet, warmups must be conducted off the track.
