Tempo Trail Races - Tempo Events
Tempo Trail Races takes place on Sunday 3rd May 2026 at Ilmington Sports & Social Club, Mickleton Road, Ilmington, Shipston On Stour CV36 4JQ. The event offers five trail race distances and uses local footpaths and country lanes.

The 100K ultra can be completed in one go or finished at the halfway point; there are cutoffs at halfway (31 miles) and at Blockley (47.5 miles). If a runner misses a cutoff a lift back to the start/finish will be provided. The 50K is a point to point route from Ilmington to Hailes with a return coach mid-afternoon. A location tracker is supplied for the 100K and 50K routes.
Feed stations are provided on all races except the 10K and supply water, gels, fruit, jelly babies and flapjacks. Ultra runners may leave a bag to be transferred to the Hayles halfway point. For other races there is a baggage drop at the Sports Club. Race HQ will provide food and hot drinks after the event.
Navigation and safety vary by distance. The 10K and Half Marathon are marked with arrows; marathon and ultra runners should use GPX files or the supplied map. Only bone conduction sports headphones are permitted. Prizes are awarded to the first three male and female finishers for each distance. Entry is online only and places are limited.
