Tejas Beer 5K Run
The Tejas Beer 5K is an out-and-back running event held in Houston, Texas. The course starts and finishes at the Tejas Brewery, located at 2101 Summer Street. Participants follow a marked and supported route through the neighborhood surrounding the brewery, which offers views of the downtown Houston skyline. This event serves as the fifth installment of the Texas 5k 6-Pack Beer Challenge.
Registration for the event includes several items for participants. Runners receive a performance fabric race shirt and a custom finisher pint glass. Following the run, the glass can be used for four 8-ounce tastings of beer at the Tejas Brewery and Taproom. The brewery also features a kitchen with a full menu for participants who wish to purchase food after the activity.
The event is open to participants of various ages, with specific pricing tiers for runners under the age of 21. Strollers are permitted on the course. Digital race photos are provided to participants online after the conclusion of the event.

Competitive awards are presented to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as masters winners aged 40 and over. Age group awards are also distributed to the top three male and female finishers in brackets ranging from 19 and under to 70 and over.
