Team Red Shamrock Trail Challenge
The Team Red Shamrock Trail Challenge is an annual trail running event held in Coralville, Iowa. This edition marks the 14th year of the competition, which serves to benefit the Red Shamrock Foundation. The event takes place at Coralville Creekside Park, utilizing the natural terrain of the area for its courses.
Participants can choose between two distinct trail distances:
- 5K trail race
- 10 Mile trail race
The event features professional chip-timing provided by Nonstop Race Management to ensure accurate results for all runners. While there is a suggested time limit of 2.5 hours for the longer distance, the organizers do not remove participants from the course if they exceed this timeframe. Awards ceremonies are held on-site following the completion of each distance, with separate recognition for the shorter and longer race categories.
