Event overview
The Team Red Shamrock Trail Challenge is a trail running event in Coralville, Iowa, held at Coralville Creekside Park (3550 340th Street). The event benefits the Red Shamrock Foundation and is part of the No Coast Trail Series. The race will be chip-timed by Nonstop Race Management.

Course and on-course services
Both distances share the same start/finish area. The 5K turns around at about 2 miles and returns to the finish. The 10 mile course is an out-and-back route. Surfaces include grass, dirt single track, and paved trail. The first mile contains the hilliest section on the grass Cross trail. The route passes under Deer Creek Road and includes the Woodpecker and Clear Creek trails; the 10 mile course reaches the Tom Harkin trailhead area where there is an aid station with toilets. Leashed dogs are allowed on the course.
Registration, packet pick-up and policies
Registration opens January 1, 2026, with a one-day special fee available that day. Online registration closes March 28. Day-of registration is available. Pediatric cancer survivors receive free entry with a coupon code. There are no refunds or bib transfers. Registered entrants may defer entry to the 2027 race if requested by March 28, 2026.
Awards, swag and post-race
A registration-included swag item (shirt) is available while supplies last; requests after March 20 are not guaranteed. Top male and female overall winners receive a pair of running shoes. Age-group awards are offered. A post-race gathering is planned at Field Day Brewing Co., North Liberty. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
