Team Eddie Memorial Color Run/Walk 5K
The Team Eddie Memorial Color Run/Walk 5K is a community event held in Laporte, Pennsylvania. Hosted at the Pioneer Campground, the course begins and ends at the campground's baseball field. This event features color stations where participants experience color blasts along the route, accompanied by music.
The event serves as a memorial fundraiser, with proceeds supporting the Edward J. Fitzgerald III, in Memory of Scholarship Fund for Sullivan County High School. Participants can choose to complete the 5K distance as either a runner or a walker.
Awards are presented to the top overall male and female finishers. Additionally, the top three male and female participants in several age categories will receive recognition:
- 12 & Under
- 13-19
- 20-29
- 30-39
- 40-49
- 50-59
- 60+
Participants who register by the early deadline are guaranteed an event shirt. Packet pick-up is conducted on-site on the morning of the event at the campground. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
