TC Jester Half Marathon & 10k : Houston, TX (08/23/2026)
This is an unofficial, loop-based running event on TC Jester Boulevard in Houston. Entry is free and registration is open between 04/17/2026 and 08/01/2026. The event is described as a "fatass" run, organized as a series of short loops on and around the TC Jester bridge and adjacent bayou.
Distances offered:
- 13.1 Miles : roughly ten loops plus one final crossing
- 10K : roughly four loops
The published route starts on the southwest side of the TC Jester bridge, heads north over the bridge, down the north side toward the bayou, enters the bayou and follows a downhill section, then turns east under TC Jester and uses a ramp back up to the bridge. Runners return south over the bridge, pass under TC Jester, and return to the start to complete each loop.
Organizers will provide water and surprise goodies. Participants may leave a bag at the sag station. The event notice also states organizers are not responsible for participants' health or safety.
