TC Jester Half Marathon and 10k
The event is an unofficial, looped running event held on TC Jester Blvd in Houston, TX 77007. It offers two distances and runs on a short circuit that follows the TC Jester Bridge and adjacent bayou.
- 13.1 Miles, roughly 10 loops of the bridge circuit
- 10K, roughly 4 loops of the same circuit
The typical loop begins on the southwest side of the TC Jester Bridge, proceeds north over the bridge and down the north side, approaches the bayou with a sag on the left, enters the bayou, follows a right turn east under TC Jester, climbs a ramp back up to the bridge, crosses southbound, and returns under the bridge to the start line. The half marathon completes the loop about ten times plus a final crossing to reach roughly 13 miles; the 10K completes about four loops.
Registration for the races opens 04/17/2026 and closes 08/01/2026. Race entry is free. Water and surprise goodies are provided, and participants may leave a bag at the sag. Volunteer registration opens 05/26/2026 and closes 08/22/2026, organizers indicate about two volunteers are needed.
The run is held in memory of a previous host. Organizers state no awards will be given and that they are not responsible for participants health or safety. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
