Taylorsville Dayzz 5K and Kid's Run
The event takes place at Valley Regional Park, Flying Field, 2700 West 4914 South, Taylorsville, UT on Saturday, June 27. It includes a road 5K race and a Kid's Run of about 0.63 miles. A rucking division is also offered; participants competing for top places must meet minimum dry weight requirements inside their pack: men 30 lbs, women 20 lbs.
Race services listed include race bibs, chip timing, swag bags, finisher medals, and either a t-shirt or a tank top for participants who register by June 10 at 10 pm. Registrations are non-refundable. Registration closes on Tuesday, June 23 at 10 pm or earlier if spots fill.
Packet pick-up is scheduled at Taylorsville City Hall, 2600 West Taylorsville Blvd, on the two days before the race. An awards ceremony follows the end of the Kid's Run, and a finish line party with music and post-race treats will take place after the races.
Prizes are planned for overall top finishers in the 5K for men and women, first place in multiple age groups for the 5K, top finishers in several Kids Run age and gender categories, and top overall finishers in the rucking division. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
