Taylorsville Dayzz 5K and Kid's Run
The event takes place at Valley Regional Park, Flying Field area, 2700 West 4914 South, Taylorsville, UT 84129 on Saturday, June 27. The program includes a 5K run/walk, a Kid's Run of 0.63 miles, and a separate rucking division.
Event services include race bibs, chip timing, swag bags, finisher medals, and a choice of a t-shirt or tank top for participants who register by June 10 at 10 pm. Size options are available in men, women (w), and youth (y) formats; participants should review and select sizes carefully because exchanges will not be available at packet pickup.
Registration fees and deadlines are published: early bird 5K pricing applies if registered by April 4, with other standard and reduced rates for veterans/active military and youth. Registration closes on Tuesday, June 23 at 10 pm or earlier if spots fill. Registrations are non-refundable.
Packet pickup is held inside Taylorsville City Hall with two scheduled sessions prior to the race. A finish line party with music and treats follows the races.
Rucking division competitors must meet minimum dry weight requirements to compete for top overall places (men 30 lbs, women 20 lbs) and may use ruck plates, weight vests, dumbbells, sandbags, or weight plates.
Awards are provided for overall 5K placings, age-group winners across listed categories, kids run top finishers by age and gender, and rucking top overall finishers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
