Taunton 10k 2026
The Taunton 10k on 27 September 2026 is a measured road race held in Taunton with start and finish at Blackbrook Pavilion. The event holds SEAA Measurement Certificate 17/405 and its UK Athletics licence is listed as TBC. Numbers and chips are collected on race day.
The course is a gently undulating circular route that runs from the residential Holway area onto quiet country roads through Stoke St Mary and Haydon, returning to the Pavilion. Some sections of the course are narrow and runners are required to keep to the left hand side of the road unless directed otherwise by course officials. Roads will remain open to traffic except at the start area and on a short section between 6 km and 7 km. The wearing of headphones or similar devices is restricted under UKA rules for races on single carriageway roads that are not wholly closed to traffic.
A water station is provided after the halfway point. Medical cover is supplied by Western Medical Services. Facilities at Blackbrook Pavilion include car parking, changing, showers and toilets.
Entry is limited to a maximum of 600 runners. Minimum age is 15 years on the event date. The race has a 90 minute cut off time and is not suitable for wheelchair entries. Entry fees differ for affiliated and unaffiliated runners and refunds are not available after 31 August. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
