Tappan Fire 5K Run/Walk
The event is a community 5K run and walk held in Tappan, New York at 89 Western Highway S. Proceeds will support the Volunteer Fire Association of Tappan. Timing is provided by SRS Super Race Systems for automatic computerized results.
Early registration fee is $25.00. Late and race day registration is $30.00, payable by cash or check, and event shirts are not guaranteed for late registrants. Early registered runners and walkers receive a short sleeve commemorative T shirt.
A kids run around the soccer field is offered for children age eight and under. No registration is required for the kids run and all kids run participants receive medals. Awards are presented to the female and male 5K winners and to the top three finishers in each age group. Age groups for awards are: 14 and under; 15 to 18; 19 to 23; 24 to 29; 30 to 39; 40 to 49; 50 to 59; 60 to 69; and 70 and over.
