About the race
The Tappan Fire 5K Run/Walk is held in Tappan, New York on November 8, 2026 at 89 Western Highway S. The event includes a 5K run/walk plus a separate kids run for participants age 8 and under that takes place around the soccer field. Proceeds support the Volunteer Fire Association of Tappan.
Timing for the 5K is provided by SRS (Super Race Systems) with automatic computerized results. Awards are presented to the female and male 5K winners, and to the top three finishers in each age group: 14 and under, 15 to 18, 19 to 23, 24 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and over. All kids run participants receive medals.
Early registration is priced at $25.00 and requires online entry or a mailed application received by October 31, 2026. Early registered runners and walkers receive a short sleeve commemorative T-shirt. Late and race day registration is $30.00 by cash or check and T-shirts are not guaranteed.
