Tanúhegyek Trail
The Tanúhegyek Trail is a trail running event organized by Terepfutó Műhely Sportegyesület in the Balaton-felvidéki Nemzeti Park. The start and finish are both located in Badacsonytomaj at the Halászkert.
Routes visit a varying number of local "tanúhegy" (witness hills); depending on the chosen course runners cross 5, 3, or 1 of these hills, with views toward Lake Balaton and the autumn-colored Balaton-felvidék.
Available distances include:
- Marathon
- Half-marathon
- Minimarathon (the shortest course is 7 km, which also includes a dog-friendly race)
The event is scheduled for 14 November 2026. It is organized as a charity event where the timing chip deposit may be offered to benefit the Ürömi Állatotthon (animal shelter).
