The Tangstedt Village Run & Stork Run is an annual running competition organized by the Tangstedt Elementary School. The event offers various running categories, including a balance bike race for children, a children's run (2 km), short-distance (4 km) and long-distance runs (9 km), Nordic walking (4 km), a half marathon (21.1 km), and a relay race. New this year is the Hamburg Corporate Sports Ranking for certain races.
The routes are measured by GPS, and there are refreshment stations along the course. Registration is done online, and the proceeds are donated to the Tangstedt School Association. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
