Tamworth Trail Blazer takes place on Sunday 22 March 2026 with the venue listed as Tamworth Lookout / Oxley Scenic Lookout, East Tamworth, NSW. The start and finish are located at Oxley Scenic Lookout, less than 5 km from the Tamworth CBD. Course and distances
The core course is a 15 km technical loop on trail with about 900 m of climbing per lap. Runners may choose multiple laps to extend distance.
- 10 km - alternative route that avoids Hurcums hill, removing approximately 300 m of climbing.
- 15 km - one lap of the technical trail loop.
- 30 km - two laps (2 x 15 km).
- 45 km - three laps (3 x 15 km).
- 60 km - four laps (4 x 15 km); registration for this distance is restricted.
