Tamarack Ottawa International Marathon
The Tamarack Ottawa International Marathon is scheduled for Sunday, May 30, 2027, in Ottawa at Ottawa City Hall, 110 Laurier Ave W. The event is a certified course and is a Boston Marathon qualifying race. It holds a World Athletics Elite Label Road Race designation and the total event capacity is 6,000 participants.
Registration for the marathon includes a spinning finisher medal, a personalized race bib for entries completed before May 1, on-course Xact nutrition and hydration, professional race timing, recovery food, and two weeks of free access to the Runna personalized coaching app. Optional add-ons are available, including a souvenir race shirt, a commemorative ribbon hanger, photography and videography packages, a digital magazine subscription, and charity fundraising opportunities. Current listed price is $180.00 plus HST for ages 18 and over, and a Green Bib option is available to divert some amenities toward charity.
Course features include kilometre markers along the route; water and Xact stations approximately every 3 km with Cherry Berry and Lightly Lemon; Xact Nutrition stations at about 8.5 km, 22 km and 32.5 km offering fruit bars; cooling and misting stations; portable toilets at every water station; cheering and entertainment stations; and full medical services on route and at the finish. Strollers are not permitted on course.
Adaptive athletes may have up to three guides, with guide entries arranged through codes provided to adaptive athletes. Elite athlete registration requires meeting published standards and timelines. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
