Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend – Ottawa Half Marathon presented by Desjardins
The Ottawa Half Marathon presented by Desjardins is scheduled for Sunday, May 24, 2026 at Ottawa City Hall, 110 Laurier Ave W. The event is listed as sold out and the total capacity is 12,000. Participants must be 16 years or older; strollers are not permitted on course.
The course is described as fast and relatively flat and passes historic landmarks and vibrant neighbourhoods. Course features include kilometre markers, Xact hydration stations approximately every 3K with lemon flavour at the first tables and water at the following tables, an Xact Nutrition station before the water stations at 15.25K offering strawberry, apricot and orange flavours, cooling and misting stations, portable toilets at each water station, cheering and entertainment stations, and full medical services on the route and at the finish.
Included with registration are a spinning half marathon finisher medal, a personalized race bib (first name), Xact nutrition and hydration on course, professional race timing, recovery food, and two weeks free access to the Runna personalized coaching app. Optional add-ons are available such as a souvenir race shirt, commemorative ribbon hanger, photography and videography packages, digital magazine subscriptions, and charity fundraising opportunities.
