Ottawa 2K
The Ottawa 2K is a 2 km event that starts at Ottawa City Hall, proceeds down Elgin Street and loops along the Rideau Canal to the finish. Strollers are permitted.
The event date is May 29, 2027 and total capacity is 5,000 participants. Current pricing is listed at $42.75 plus HST. A Green Bib option is available to forgo mailed items and direct part of the fee to a charity fund.
Registration includes a finisher medal, a personalized race bib with first name for entrants registered before May 1, professional race timing, recovery food and two weeks of free access to the Runna personalized coaching app. Optional add-ons include a souvenir race shirt, a commemorative ribbon hanger, photography and videography packages, a digital magazine subscription and opportunities to fundraise for charity.
An expanded reusable cup program at the finish line aims to eliminate over 3,000 single-use cups. Course features include kilometre markers, cheering and entertainment stations, and full medical services on the route and at the finish. Adaptive athletes may have up to three guides; promo codes or direct registration links are provided to enable complimentary timed entry for guide runners.
