Ottawa 10K presented by Otto’s Ottawa
The Ottawa 10K is part of Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend and takes place on May 29, 2027 at Ottawa City Hall (110 Laurier Ave W). Organizers describe the course as flat and fast; a new Canadian championship record was set on this course in 2025, and the event will host the 2027 Canadian 10K Championships.
The route leads runners from Ottawa City Hall down the Rideau Canal, past the tulips at Dow’s Lake, and back along the canal to a finish in front of spectators.
The event has a total capacity of 8,000. It is open to runners aged 14 and up; strollers are not permitted. A handcycle category is available. The adaptive athlete program allows up to three guides on course; promotional codes or direct registration links are provided to adaptive athletes for their guide runners.
On-course amenities include three hydration stations on both sides of the road, kilometre markers, portable toilets at every water station, cheering and entertainment stations, full medical services on route and at the finish, and professional race timing. Registration benefits listed by organizers include a finisher medal, a personalized race bib (names printed for entries before May 1), recovery food, and other event options. A Green Bib option is offered for those wishing to divert mailed amenities to charity. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
