TACOS & MICHE 5K RUN (FRESNO)
The event is a community running and walking event in Fresno on June 27, 2026, held at the Shinzen Group Activity Area, 7775 N Friant Rd. It includes a timed 5K run, a 2 mile walk and multiple kids races. The course starts at the Shinzen Group Activity Area, follows Eaton Trail and the paved road around the park, and is described as well marked with a bike lead. A water station is located near the 1.56 mile mark.
Finish-line items and participant benefits are listed for registered participants. All 5K participants aged 21 and over are eligible for a michelada at the finish line. Participants who register by June 15 receive a dri-fit shirt and a beer mug. There is a unique finishing medal and extra medals for those participating in the Reyes Running Series. Other onsite offerings include free tacos, aguas frescas, live banda music, DJ music and a fun dance competition.
Awards include standard age group prizes and separate Athena (women over 185 lbs) and Clydesdale (men over 225 lbs) categories. Timing uses chips.
