Tacoma City Marathon / Half / Ghost / 10K / 5K / 1K
The event takes place over a weekend in Tacoma, Washington and includes multiple race options across two days. Saturday features the Ghost of Tacoma Marathon and Ghost of Tacoma Half Marathon following shorter races and a kids event. Sunday hosts the Tacoma City Marathon, Half Marathon and a marathon relay.

Sunday’s marathon and half marathon are point to point courses that cross the Narrows Bridge and finish at Dune Peninsula Park along Commencement Bay. The courses are USATF certified and designated as Boston qualifying. The route passes through Point Defiance Park, including gardens and old growth forest, crosses the Wilson Way Bridge with a downhill section into the waterfront, and continues along the Thea Foss Waterway Esplanade near the Museum of Glass. The marathon course includes waterfront sections with views of the Puget Sound and Mt. Rainier.
A registration discount applies when the same person registers for a Sunday marathon or half marathon together with a Ghost race; a tariff surcharge fee is listed for registrations. Volunteer opportunities are available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
