Event overview
The Sweethearts 5k & Cupid 1k Run takes place on February 14, 2026, at the South Davis Recreation Center in Bountiful, Utah. The event offers two race distances:

The event is organized by the South Davis Recreation Center. Entry fees listed for the individual events are USD 20 for the 5K and USD 17 for the 1K.
Race details
The event includes costume contests with separate couple and single categories. Couple contest categories include Best Dressed, Most Creative, and Most Red & Pink Combined Couple. Single contest categories include Best Dressed Cupid, Most Red, and Most Pink.
Awards are given in both the 5K and the 1K. Prizes include giant oversized bears and custom-sized bears for age divisions (male and female), with placements for 1st through 3rd. Children in the 1K receive awards as well. Couples receive chocolate covered strawberries by the dozen; singles receive half dozen chocolate covered strawberries.
Packet pickup is scheduled on race day morning. A running clinic is scheduled for January 21, 2026; participants must RSVP to reserve a spot. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
