Suwanee Sweetheart Sprint

The Rotary Club of North Gwinnett hosts the 16th Annual Suwanee Sweetheart Sprint, a community race day featuring a 5k and a separate Fun Run for children. The event is a Peachtree Road Race qualifier and includes age-group medals, an award for the fastest dog, recognition for the most senior finisher, and a Valentine themed costume contest.

The Fun Run takes place around the town green and is scheduled between the 5k and the awards ceremony; participating children receive a shirt and a finisher ribbon. Race-day activities include a DJ, mascot appearances, and a group warm up before the 5k. After the race there are hot chocolate and post-race snacks, plus a photo booth for participants and families.

The event is pet-friendly and supports community causes. Proceeds benefit Rotary Club of North Gwinnett scholarships and other charities, aligning the race with local fundraising and volunteer efforts.
