Strut in Sutton 5K
The Strut in Sutton is a community road 5K held in Sutton, New Hampshire, with a start location at the intersection of Keyser Street and Wadleigh State Park Road near Wadleigh State Park. The course is a rural, relatively flat loop of approximately 3.2 miles around Kezar Lake and features a finish chute that is suitable for spectators.
Runners and walkers will pass scenic views that include Kezar Lake, King Ridge, and Mount Kearsarge, and may see local wildlife such as loons and blue herons along the route.
Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each age group: 6 & Under, 7–11, 12–15, 16–24, 25–34, 35–44, 45–54, 55–64, and 65+. Additional recognitions include Best Costume, First Stroller, Top Dog, and Little Passenger, Big Speed for the first-place stroller.
The event is organized by the Sutton Central School PTO. Proceeds support school needs and programs, including classroom materials, enrichment programs, a literacy drive, and field trips.
