Course Details
The Sutter Buttes Spirit Mountain Run takes place on May 16, 2026. The event offers three distances: a 5K, a 10K, and a Half Marathon. All courses are run on a paved route through Pass Road in the center of the Sutter Buttes, which is described as the smallest mountain range in the world. The courses start on a flat road, feature a slight gradual rolling incline, and then a slight gradual rolling decline.
Event Information
The event is held rain or shine. All proceeds benefit children and families in need in the Sutter/Yuba area. A racers breakfast is provided at the finish line, but there will be no vendors or beer and wine sales after the race.
Packet pickup is available on Friday, May 17, at New Earth Market in Yuba City from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Late registration and packet pickup are also available on Saturday, May 18, at the Sutter Youth Building in the Park from 6:45 AM until 7:30 AM. The start address is 7740 Butte House Rd, Sutter, CA.
