Event Details
The Sutter Buttes Spirit Mountain Run takes place on May 16, 2026, in Sutter, California. The event offers three race distances: a 5K, a 10K, and a Half Marathon. All courses are run on a paved route through Pass Road in the center of the Sutter Buttes, which is noted as the world's smallest mountain range.
Course and Logistics
All races start on a flat road. The course features a slight, gradual rolling incline followed by a slight, gradual rolling decline. The event takes place regardless of weather conditions. A racers' breakfast is provided at the finish line, but there will be no vendors or beer and wine sales after the race.
Packet pickup is available on Friday, May 17th, at New Earth Market in Yuba City from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and on Saturday, May 18th, at the Sutter Youth Building in the Park from 6:45 AM to 7:30 AM.
